My Medium Quality 'rectangle' of Boston has only Photogrammetry data, provided FS2020 is up to date with bing maps. I look at Bing Maps and see if the 'View bird's eye' option is available and not grayed out to know which parts of the city has Photogrammetry data and which not. You may have to drive each map you have and. Exit the game totally to your desktop then reload the game and map and it should now be smooth, mine is.

Delete this, load your game and map, drive around all the map and save.

If you take a part of a city which doesn't have Photogrammetry data, then the file size will be drastically smaller. if you have bad framerates now you can try deleting your shader cache file which is in the same location as your mods folder. I know you can delete the cached shaders (if you can find them as it varies based on system and game) as theyll just be re-compiled next time you start Windows or a game.
